If you are in the Old Town, where Stockholm was founded in 1252, you have to slip into a Viking bar and take a mead.

Pharmarium

A great cocktail bar that you can’t miss. As themselves say: “With inspiration from the ancient pharmacy, we create interesting flavours with questionable ingredients and a large dose of imagination”. Book a table is a tip!

Here you are served really good drinks and nice food. It shares the kitchen with The Flying Elk and is part of Frantzén Group

Skansen

Skansen is the world’s oldest open-air museum, showcasing the whole of Sweden with houses and farmsteads from every part of the country. It's also a zoo, with typical Nordic animals.

Lively food court with restaurants from the world's different cuisines. Here you can take dumplings from Bejing 8 while your lunch mate orders a burger from Vigårda. There are also Snackbar, Panini, Zocalo, Yoi, Hattori Sushi Devil. Jim Lim, Malmö, Combo and Nero.

With 250 seats in different levels and opening hours from breakfast to after work, this is a popular place among trendy locals. Some of the restaurants also serve beer and wine.

Chokladfabriken

Just two minutes walk from us, up to Regeringsgatan, is a Chocolate Factory. Here are the homemade pralines in various flavours delicate presented in nice boxes. There is also a café area where you can have a cup of coffee and enjoy the delicious scent of chocolate.

Chocolate Factory's own words: With us, you will find unusually tasty chocolate. Whole cakes, pralines, drinking chocolate, petit-fours, cakes and muffins. Everything is made by hand and therefore contains both love and chocolate.

Stikki Nikki

A fantastic place to have an ice cream in Stockholm has to offer. Stikki Nikki serves organic handmade ice cream with amazing flavours. With over 500 recipes, they offer different flavors from day to day. Well worth a visit!

Junibacken

One of the most visited museums, for children, that Stockholm has to offer. Here you can visit Astrid Lindgren's amazing fairytale world. Pippi, Saltkråkan, Mio my Mio. Every day there is theatre plays for the children, and Astrid's environments are built for the children to play in. Even other children's book writers' stories have their own room at Junibacken, for example, Barbro Lindgren with Loranga and The Wild Baby.
At Junibacken children and adults have the chance to experience a fantasy world together.

Restaurant Hantverket

A really nice restaurant with very good food!

The restaurant's own words: The restaurant is a lively meeting place suited for business lunches as well as dinners and late night drinks. It is just as elegant as it is unpretentious. Food, atmosphere and decor are all characterized by passion and genuineness.

Åhléns City

Great shopping offers the large Åhléns department store in the center of Stockholm city. Here you will find fashion, décor and cosmetics under one roof. Åhléns City has won the marks of several of Sweden's leading fashion houses.

Fotografiska

Fotografiska is a popular tourist destination in Stockholm. There are ongoing photo exhibitions that are being replaced during the year. Fotografiska also has a popular restaurant led by Paul Svensson. The restaurant was named the world's best museum restaurant in 2017!

Moderna Museet

Vasa Museum

The Vasa ship capsized and sank in Stockholm 1628. After 333 years on the sea bed the mighty warship was salvaged and the voyage could continue. Today Vasa is the world's only preserved 17th century ship and the most visited museum in Scandinavia.

Nordiska Kompaniet NK

One of Stockholm's most famous and enchanting department stores. Swedish and international fashion, cosmetics, jewellers, glass and ceramics, decor, delicacies and much more.

NK's own words: The luxury department store on Hamngatan, Stockholm, opened in 1915. Ever since, many iconic personalities have visited and exclusive launches have taken place here. NK is known to always be one step ahead of the game. NK Gothenburg opened in 1971. Nordiska Kompaniet is owned by Hufvudstaden AB.

Operan

The Royal Opera is Sweden's national stage for opera and ballet.

The Opera's own words: As national ballet offers Royal Ballet on both the toe and tulle and contemporary choreography. With one foot in tradition and the other in the future, the Company a loyal audience.

Dramaten

The Royal Dramatic Theater, more famous as Dramaten, is Sweden's national scene. Thus, in Dramaten, classics, newly written theatre and theatre for children and youth are played.

Urban Deli

In the neighbourhood next to the hotel is lovely Urban Deli. A grocery store out of the ordinary. In addition, breakfasts, brunches, lunches and dinner are served in the restaurant. Generous opening times and good food!
